Alex is a mechanical engineer with more than 30 years' experience developing complex mechanical and operational systems in the aerospace and medical device industries. With a background in industrial workflow and processes, Alex is a key figure in the development of RIVA automated compounding technology. He has extensive technical knowledge of RIVA systems, and a detailed understanding of the use and optimization of the technology within pharmacy practice. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba.
Brian has focused heavily on expanding the capabilities of the enterprise-scale OptiFillTM solutions during his 13 year tenure with AutoMed Technologies. He has collaborated with clients to guide development of several new operational models for automated pharmacies serving the corrections, long term care and specialty segments, and is a member of the core team commercializing the innovative Total Dose Solution offering. Prior to AutoMed, Brian worked to bring new technologies for pharmaceutical processing and medical devices to market, as well as in capital equipment sales. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biology, cum laude, from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
With more than 30 years' experience in developing, implementing and managing pharmacy re-engineering initiatives, Craig specializes in pharmacy efficiency and workflow design. Craig joined a forerunner of AmerisourceBergen in 1997 and has held several leadership positions including pharmacy sales consultant and field implementation manager. He has also worked as a pharmacy technician and pharmacy business analyst in large acute care health systems. Craig completed his education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Experienced as a technician in both retail and health system pharmacies, Erica specializes in analyzing pharmacy operations and developing solutions to improve safety and workflow efficiencies. She worked with AutoMed Technologies for more than 10 years and earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering management from Oklahoma State University.
Gary is an applications consultant who specializes in pharmacy operations analysis and design to provide integrated medication and inventory management solutions for customers. His experience includes hospital materials management, product management for Choice Systems and project management for AmerisourceBergen Technology Group. Gary has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
A mechanical engineer who specializes in utilizing RIVA automation technology for hazardous drug compounding applications (especially in Canada and Australia), Irene joined Intelligent Hospital Systems in 2009 and works to help customers implement automation in order to achieve compounding production efficiencies. With her background as a project engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment, she has helped pharmacies implement key manufacturing concepts used in the automotive industry to increase quality. Irene graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
Jodie is an expert in automated dispensing cabinet administration with more than two decades’ experience in the hospital setting, where she has also managed operating room medication and IV preparation. A member of the AutoMed Technologies team for 14 years, Jodie primarily consults on the MedSelectTM automated dispensing cabinet product line, helping customers create customized cabinet configurations and optimize utilization of cabinet solutions and pharmacy workflow.
Joe joined a forerunner of AmerisourceBergen in 1998 and has worked in several technical areas including research and development, system interfaces, system implementation and customer support, and served most recently as director of integration engineering. He has contributed substantially to the ongoing success of customers achieving data optimization and strategic systems integration through meaningful interface design and implementation. Joe received a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering from the University of Akron, and an MBA from Franciscan University of Steubenville, both in Ohio.
